After booking your vehicle you will receive a printable rental voucher. This rental voucher contains all the information pertaining to your reservation which will enable you to receive your vehicle. Note that more than 24 hours may elapse before reception of this e-mail
2. What is a refundable excess or CDW?
The vehicles come with an insurance package according to which you are encumbered with up to a certain amount of money if you cause damage to the vehicle during hire period. It is crucial importance for you to have officially recorded any potential flaws in the vehicle prior to hiring. In case of accident it is important to obtain a report by the local police and fill in the relevant documents pertaining to accidents.
3. Lost keys
If you lose your keys, most car hire companies charge from 50€ to 150€ to cover the cost of key, alarm remote or lock replacement.
4. Additional drivers
All companies allow for an additional driver at a daily charge or NOT. You can be informed as to this at the time of reservation.
5. Charges for child seat.
All car hire companies charge a daily sum or NOT. You can be informed as to this by each company. Children’s seats are compulsory in all countries for children under 5 or weighing less that 40lb
6. Is a credit card necessary?
Yes. All companies demand a credit card number at the moment of hire to cover any excess charges that might be imposed during hire period such as violations of the driving code e.t.c.
7. What do I need to hire a vehicle?
You should always have your rental voucher. This contains specific information pertaining to hiring the vehicle, prices and other data. If you book on line or by phone the voucher will be e-mailed or faxed to you. A lease contract should be signed at the place of delivery of the vehicle. Apart from the voucher, you should display your transport or ID card, your driver’s license and your credit card. If your license is in a language unintelligible to the local authorities (such as Chinese), make sure you also bring an international driver’s license. Photocopies of all the above-mentioned documents, are inadmissible. You must bring the official documents.
8. Is there a charge for cancellation or alteration of reservation?
Consult the terms of use (terms and conditions ) of our website. All modifications and cancellations must be processed by us and not our associater or representatives. If you return your vehicle early, you are not entitled to a refund for any unused time.
9. How soon can I confirm my reservation?
Most reservations will be confirmed within 24 hours. If you have not received confirmation at the lapse of that time, please check for any filters in your e-mail address before contacting us.
10. How can I pay for hiring a vehicle?
The only available choice for hiring a vehicle is payment by credit card or in cash. You also need to display your credit card with your own name on it upon delivery of vehicle.
11 What kind of insurance will I have?
All our prices include insurance cover towards third parties and fire insurance. When the client buys CDW, he has no financial responsibility for the vehicle in case of accident. In this case, the client is responsible for the exemption amount mentioned. If the client buys FCDW, he has absolutely no financial responsibility for the vehicle in case of accident. CDW and FCDW are optional and the client is entitled to decline. If you do not wish to buy them upon vehicle delivery, please note that you should sigh with your initials in the box ‘Reject CDW or FCDW’ in the Lease Agreement. Most credit card companies demand immediate payment of repair bills by the client and have specific deadline for the submition of the required documents.
12. Can I be certain that the chosen vehicle is available?
If the vehicle you chose upon reservation is not available, a similar model will be provided upon delivery. We guarantee the category but not the make or model.
13. Can the vehicle be delivered where I wish?
During reservation you state where you wish the delivery of the vehicle to take place. In some cases, this can be effected at no charge. However, this sometimes entails extra charges.
